Korean Strawberry Milk Recipe
Fresh strawberry milk with real strawberry pieces - a beloved Korean drink that's creamy, fruity, and naturally sweet.
Ingredients
For the Strawberry Milk:
- 300g fresh strawberries, hulled
- 400ml whole milk
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
For Garnish:
- Extra strawberry slices
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves
Alternative Method:
- 200g strawberries for syrup
- 100g strawberries for pieces
- 400ml cold milk
- 2 tbsp strawberry syrup
Instructions
Make Fresh Strawberry Milk:
- Reserve 6-8 strawberries for garnish, slice and set aside.
- Hull and chop remaining strawberries.
- In a blender, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, and honey.
- Blend until smooth puree forms.
- Strain through fine mesh to remove seeds if desired.
- Add milk and vanilla to strawberry puree.
- Blend briefly to combine.
Serve:
- Fill glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour strawberry milk over ice.
- Add reserved strawberry slices to each glass.
- Top with whipped cream if desired.
- Garnish with mint leaves and serve with straws.
Make Strawberry Syrup Version:
- Cook 200g strawberries with sugar until syrupy.
- Cool and strain syrup.
- Mix syrup with cold milk and fresh strawberry pieces.
- Serve over ice with garnishes.
